I had the honor of being interviewed by Trevor Tomion on his podcast, Common Leaders.
Trevor asked some deep questions and we really explored more than I thought possible in that time...
We’ve been building a robust plan for maintaining the habits of thought and action that will help us reach our goal to live a happy, fulfilled life at the size and shape we desire to be. We’re paying attention to our morning thoughts, setting the tone and intention for each day right from the start. We’re making self-care a priority, taking time on a daily, monthly and annual basis to be sure we’re being pampered and our souls are being nourished. We’re balancing all aspects of our lives, giving the appropriate amount of time and energy to career, family, service, money, etc. We’re living in alignment with our core values and goals.
Sometimes it is about the food. Sometimes food is the centerpiece around which conversation, sharing, quality time, laughter, and understanding occur. What we choose to eat is as much a part of the experience as what we choose to say and whom we choose to share the meal with.
I had the honor of being interviewed by Victoria Andersen on her podcast, Leap Into Your Story Podcast.
We talked about "Someone Needs to Hear Your Voice" and more...
When we buy new tires for our car, the shop makes sure the tires are balanced and aligned so we have the smoothest ride possible. The balance and alignment also make sure all of the moving parts on the car last longer. A shaky, rattly tire will shake and rattle the rest of the car apart if we let it go long enough.
Self-care is a big buzzword these days and I think it’s a good one. We all know we need it. We all love it when we do it. But most of us don’t do it as often as we need it!
