How much weight have you lost?

I have lost 30 pounds and have maintained the same weight for over a year.

How much weight have your clients lost?

One of my clients lost 50 pounds and has maintained his weight for over a year. Another has lost 15 pounds and has maintained her weight for 2 years.

What’s your end goal?

My end goal is to live a happier life. If you’re asking my weight goal, it’s a total of 110 pounds.

Do you offer any concrete, practical things I can do to get to my goals?

Yes. In group settings, classes, and one-on-one coaching, I offer practical tools to help you build new habits of thought and action. The “Practical Guide to Creating Positive Self-Talk” is a good example.

If you don’t hand out a diet and exercise plan, how does anyone lose weight?

By removing our mental blocks and clearing our emotional reactions, we are more likely to make choices of diet and exercise that support our bodies. I strongly recommend that each person commit to a diet and exercise plan of their choice, recognizing that one plan will not work for everyone. Our focus is in meetings, classes, and coaching sessions is on developing the mental and emotional habits that will make our food and exercises effortless and joyful.

What are the Digital Weight Management Support Tools?

The Digital Weight Management Support Tools are a series of topics, exercises, affirmations, and centering scripts delivered in a bi-monthly email subscription. Emails arrive on the 1st and the 16th of each month. In each email you will receive:

What happens in the live group sessions?

Each meeting starts and ends with minute or two of centering. Every month we have a theme, and each week I bring a topic related to that theme. In the group sessions, we discuss the topic, work through exercises, and often build affirmations to take with us for the week.

How do the online group sessions differ from the live group sessions?

The content in the online group is the same as the live group, although the specific topic each week may be different each group. Any handouts we may use are available as .pdf documents that you can download before the session.

What happens in one-on-one private coaching sessions?

I start each of my client working on changing self-talk, separating self-esteem from body image, and removing judgment from food. How fast we work through those themes is tailored to each person. Which themes we go to after those three is customized for the individual client.

How do I join the Facebook Group?

People who have either...

  • attended a group for at least 4 sessions, or
  • have completed a course, or
  • have paid year’s subscription to Digital Weight Management Support Tools, or
  • have had at least 4 one-on-one coaching sessions

...may request to join the private Facebook group. The group is designed to be supportive, positive, and affirmative. Once you have some experience of The Main Meal Weight Management Support principles and practices, we would love to have you join in mutual support of the group.

Do you have any online courses?
